Welcome to Pet and House Sitter (Pty) Ltd.

We are the Petters, you are the Pawrent, and your pets our Furry Frens! Thank you for trusting us with your Furry Frens since 2013.

Our facilities operate on a pre-booking basis. This allows us to ensure that every Furry Fren meets our preapproval conditions and helps us maintain the high standards, sustainability, and integrity of our facilities.

When visiting our Moreleta facility, Furry Frens must always remain within the designated Pet and House Sitter premises, which is the space between B4T and Duifies Crèche. Any area outside this is strictly off-limits for Furry Frens. Pawrents are requested to respect the Moreleta Campus and its facilities. Failure to comply may result in the immediate removal of both Pawrents and Furry Frens from the premises.

At Pet and House Sitter, we strive for pawfection in everything we do. Our goal is to provide a pawsome experience for both Furry Frens and their Pawrents. Every policy, procedure, and requirement has been carefully designed to create a safe, welcoming, fun, and relaxing environment for all. When it comes to safety and hygiene, we believe there is no such thing as being too careful. Your Furry Fren's health, happiness, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do.

Regular deworming plays a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and sustainability of our facilities. To help prevent the spread of the three most common internal parasites in dogs—Hookworms, Giardia, and Coccidia—we require all Furry Frens to be dewormed at least once every two months. This requirement is an essential part of our commitment to providing a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for all. By working together to maintain these standards, we can ensure the well-being and happiness of all Furry Frens in our care.

The Pawrent acknowledge, understand, assure, attend, or provide the following:

Always visit www.petandhousesitter.co.za before every booking to stay updated with the most recent terms, conditions, procedures, services and pricing.
When Events are hosted at our Moreleta facility, all Daycare and Boarding Furry Frens will continue to enjoy full access to the facility. Private Dog Park bookings may either join the Event at the relevant costs or reschedule.
The Furry Information Form is completed accurately, and the information is up to date with every booking.
The Furry Information Form is editable. Please save your submission email to make future changes and keep the information current.
The Furry Information Form is required to proceed with the booking process.
The Booking Form is completed accurately.
The Booking Form is required before attending our facility.
Feedback Policy: Upon completion of the Booking Form, please allow up to 48 hours for feedback.
If feedback through WhatsApp is not received within 48 hours of submitting the Booking Form, it unfortunately indicates that we are unable to accommodate your request.
Payment by card or EFT is due before you leave our facility.
If there is any reasonable doubt of Pawrent negligence in ensuring the Furry Frens meet al preapproval conditions, Pet and House Sitter will take any required actions to gain evidence of such negligence. The Pawrent will be responsible for all losses accompanied with such negligence. The following Furry Fren preapproval conditions must be met before attending our facility:
- Sterilised (spayed or neutered). Intact or unaltered Furry Frens may visit our Private Dog Park and Events only if contractual, breed-specific commitments have been made regarding this preapproval condition. Furry Frens in heat are not permitted. If an intact Furry Fren causes any kind of discomfort to another Furry Fren, the Pawrent and Furry Fren will be asked to leave the facility immediately, and no refunds will be issued. This condition does not apply to our Exclusive Facility Access.
- Suitability and socialisation. Your Furry Frens overall behaviour and well-being must be suitable for our facility. This includes but are not limited to safety, obedience, social adaptability, general demeanour, health and hygiene. Any kind of aggressive, dominant or destructive behaviour towards other Furry Frens, Petters, visitors or our facility will not be tolerated. No refunds will apply.
- Up to date immunisation record, vaccinations, deworming, tick and flee control. This includes but is not limited to Rabies, DHPP/DAPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Milpro or Milbemax (broad spectrum deworming) and Bravecto (tick and fleas). For optimal immunity and vaccine effectiveness, we suggest waiting 10 to 14 days before visiting our facilities. Please email (pahs.petter@gmail.com) and, or WhatsApp (084 084 0370) the proof of your Furry Fren's veterinary documentation and immunisation records to us.
- Voice control. No excessive barking to other Furry Frens or moving objects due to our facilities locations.
- No power breeds are allowed in group play. Contact us to find out more about our Exclusive Facility Access where this condition does not apply. The power breed list includes but not limited to Rottweilers, Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Malinois, Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers and Husky’s. PLEASE NOTE: All breeds are welcome at our facilities up to the age of six months. If your Furry Fren is classified as a power breed and has been a regular at our facilities since puppyhood, we may, at our sole discretion, conduct a behavioural and social compatibility assessment after six months of age. Based on this evaluation, your Furry Fren may be permitted to continue visiting our facilities. As every Furry Fren is unique, each assessment is considered on a case-by-case basis, and continued admission cannot be guaranteed.
During Private Dog Park, Exclusive Facility Access, or Event bookings, Pawrents remain fully responsible for their Furry Frens and may not leave them unattended on the facility.
A leash and collar are always mandatory. Please never take off the leash before entering our facility.
Pet and House Sitter and the Petters take photos and videos of the Pawrent and Furry Frens. These photos and videos may be used as marketing material on Pet and House Sitters social media platforms. Confidentiality of Pawrents information will always remain.
The Pawrent is responsible for covering any costs or expenses if their Furry Frens’ actions cause injury, death, loss or damages to Pet and House Sitter, Petters, visitors, or other Furry Frens.
The services rendered by Pet and House Sitter are not those of a veterinary, dog training, safety guard entity or company. Pet and House Sitter focus mainly on the love, care and attention of your Furry Frens. We will always assist in emergencies, given its limitations, and falling within the scope of the indemnity that forms part hereof.
Pet and House Sitter and the Petters shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss or damages to the Pawrent and Furry Frens which may arise as a result of, but not limited to, the following: dog fights, strikes, lockouts, fires, floods, earthquakes, weather storms, riots, events which can be otherwise known as force majeure, or vis major, or any other act which is beyond the control of Pet and House Sitter. Although every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, no guarantees can be provided. Therefore, any Furry Frens, Petters, Pawrents, and visitors entering our facility do so at their own risk.

No part of the website and documents may in any form or by any means (including without limitation: electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise) be used, copied, reproduced, amended, adapted, or transmitted without the prior written consent of Pet and House Sitter (Pty) Ltd.
The content of the forms and documents will be treated with confidentiality and only in accordance with the purpose of which it is intended for. Pet and House Sitter acknowledge the fact that this information may not be shared with third parties and Pet and House Sitter herein will not accept accountability or legal liability based on this document and attachments due to non-compliance of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI), Act 4 of 2013.

EXCLUSIVE FACILITY ACCESS

Exclusive Facility Access is reserved for the Furry Frens of a single Pawrent per booking.
Where two or more Pawrents wish to use the facility during the same time, each Pawrent must submit a separate booking form. Separate invoices will be issued for each booking.
Exclusive Facility Access is limited to a maximum of five (5) Furry Frens per hour.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Private Event bookings at our Moreleta facility include the use of available tables, chairs, and bathroom facilities. The facility must be left in the same clean and orderly condition in which it was received.
Full EFT payment is required before attending our facility to secure the private event booking.
