





TERMS | CONDITIONS | PROCEDURES - DAYCARE AND BOARDING FACILITIES
Welcome to Pet and House Sitter (Pty) Ltd.
We are the Petters, you are the Pawrent, and your pets our Furry Frens! Thank you for trusting us with your Furry Frens since 2013. The Pawrent acknowledge, understand, assure, attend, or provide the following:

Always visit www.petandhousesitter.co.za before every booking to stay updated with the most recent terms, conditions, procedures, services and pricing.

The Furry Information Form is completed accurately, and the information is up to date with every booking.

The Furry Information Form is editable. Please save your submission email to make future changes and keep the information current.

The Furry Information Form is required to proceed with the booking process.

Complete all booking information accurately because the Booking Form is used for invoicing.

Feedback Policy: Upon completion of both the Furry Information Form and the Booking Form, please allow up to 48 hours for feedback.

If feedback through WhatsApp is not received within 48 hours of submitting the Booking Form, it unfortunately indicates that we are unable to accommodate your request. Requests for dates scheduled well in advance will be placed on a waiting list. Please note, we cannot guarantee future availability.

After availability has been confirmed, an invoice will be sent via email and, or WhatsApp.

Full payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the invoice to finalize the booking. No Furry Fren will be allowed at the facilities without receiving full payment.

Our banking details will be reflected on the invoice.

Refunds are not provided for cancellations, early returns or incorrect booking details. Furthermore, payments cannot be applied to future bookings. Any cancellations prevent our facilities to operate at maximum capacity.

The safety of our Furry Frens, Petters, Pawrents, and visitors is of utmost importance to us. The following Furry Fren preapproval conditions must be met before the consultation meeting and trial days can be considered:

Fully socialised.

Sterilised.

Up to date immunisation record, vaccinations, deworming, tick and flee control. This includes but is not limited to Rabies, DHPP/DAPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Milpro or Milbemax (wide spectrum deworming) and Bravecto (tick and fleas). For optimal immunity and vaccine effectiveness, we suggest waiting 10 to 14 days before visiting our facilities. Please email (pahs.petter@gmail.com) and, or WhatsApp (084 084 0370) the proof of your Furry Fren's veterinary documentation and immunisation records to us.

Voice control. No excessive barking to other Furry Frens or moving objects.

No power breeds. The list includes but not limited to Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Shepherds, Malinois, Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers and Husky’s.

Any kind of aggressive or dominant behaviour towards other Furry Frens, Petters or visitors will not be tolerated.

After the Furry Frens preapproval conditions has been met the consultation meeting and trial days will follow.

The consultation meeting is compulsory for all new Furry Frens at the relevant cost.

The consultation meeting needs to take place before the actual service commencement.

A consultation and trial day can be scheduled together, based on the consultation's outcome.

We strongly recommend at least one or two trial days before leaving your Furry Frens for long periods of time at our facilities. Our half day service offering will suffice.

At these consultations and trial days we evaluate and assess your Furry Frens overall behaviour, well-being and suitability for our facilities. This includes but are not limited to safety, obedience, social adaptability, general demeanour, health and hygiene.

We invite the Pawrent to participate actively in the consultation meeting to assist your Furry Frens in becoming comfortable during their visit. Our facilities are dedicated to fostering strong relationships between Furry Frens and Pawrents. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone.

The consultation meeting and trial days for existing Furry Frens are optional.

If, after the consultation meeting or trial days Pet and House Sitter declined the Furry Fren for whatever reason, Pet and House Sitter and the Pawrent are no longer obligated to provide or receive further services. The Pawrent will be refunded the amount they paid, minus the fee for the consultation meeting and, or trail days.

If there is a notable change in the Furry Fren's behaviour or well-being when service begins, or if any new issues appear during the service that were not present during the consultation or trial days, the Furry Fren will be promptly removed from the facilities. The Pawrent will be contacted to make alternative arrangements. Pet and House Sitter may offer an alternative service if available. No refunds will apply.

The Pawrent is responsible for covering any costs or expenses if their Furry Frens’ actions cause injury, death, loss or damages to Pet and House Sitter, Petters, visitors, or other Furry Frens.

A leash and collar are always mandatory at both facilities. Please never take off the leash before entering our facilities.

For our Boarding services, the Pawrent must provide enough Furry Fren food, food bowls, treats, medicine (if applicable), bed and blanket, favourite toy, hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush, and soap. Any additional costs incurred by Pet and House Sitter while providing the services, such as purchasing pet food or medication, must be paid immediately on request. These costs are not included in the booking process or initial invoice.

No feeding will occur at our Moreleta Daycare facility. Please ensure you fed your Furry Fren before bringing them to this facility.

Any extra service requests from Pawrents should be made at least 48 hours in advance and submitted as a new booking request. If the Pawrent fail to do this, and Pet and House Sitter cannot perform any additional requests, this will fall within the scope of the indemnity that forms part hereof. Payment for the additional services is required immediately.

Hourly or Daycare rates apply for extra hours after check-out.

The services rendered by Pet and House Sitter are not those of a veterinary, dog training, safety guard entity or company. Pet and House Sitter focus mainly on the love, care and attention of your Furry Frens. We will always assist in emergencies, given its limitations, and falling within the scope of the indemnity that forms part hereof.

Pet and House Sitter and the Petters shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss or damages to the Pawrent and Furry Frens which may arise as a result of, but not limited to, the following: dog fights, strikes, lockouts, fires, floods, earthquakes, weather storms, riots, events which can be otherwise known as force majeure, or vis major, or any other act which is beyond the control of Pet and House Sitter. Although every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, no guarantees can be provided. Therefore, any Furry Frens, Petters, Pawrents, and visitors entering our facilities do so at their own risk.

General updates via WhatsApp will be shared regularly. Pet and House Sitter value honest, transparent and continuous communication. Our mission is to allow our Pawrents to escape from the everyday life knowing that their Furry Frens are in safe hands.

Pet and House Sitter and the Petters take photos and videos of the Pawrents Furry Frens as primary communication method. The photos and videos taken off Furry Frens may be used as marketing material on Pet and House Sitters social media platforms. Confidentiality of Pawrents information will always remain.

Claims of unsatisfactory service, losses and, or damages resulting from Pet and House Sitter negligent actions must be supported by physical evidence submitted within 48 hours after service. After 48 hours of service, the credibility of such claims may be diminished and lose significance. Pet and House Sitter will review the evidence, and its actions may include but are not limited to the following: issue a warning or terminate the Petter's Service Level Agreement with immediate effect, approve a certain amount of refund to the Pawrent.

Please rate our services after completion to help us improve.

Pet and House Sitter do not get involved in, nor take any percentage of, tips given to the Petter. The Petter and Pawrent must make payment arrangements directly between themselves.

Pet and House Sitters website and all documents are the proprietary and copyrighted material of Pet and House Sitter (Pty) Ltd. No part of the website and documents may in any form or by any means (including without limitation: electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise) be used, copied, reproduced, amended, adapted, or transmitted without the prior written consent of Pet and House Sitter (Pty) Ltd.

The content of the forms and documents will be treated with confidentiality and only in accordance with the purpose of which it is intended for. Pet and House Sitter acknowledge the fact that this information may not be shared with third parties and Pet and House Sitter herein will not accept accountability or legal liability based on this document and attachments due to non-compliance of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI), Act 4 of 2013.
