Improving the appearance of furry frens is the main reason why hoomans decide to do grooming. Regular grooming ultimately increases furry frens overall wellbeing. How?
Better hygiene and smell. Cleaning and brushing away all the dead skin and build up can do wonders to your furry frens hygiene and smell.
Check and treat fleas. Regular washing, brushing, and clipping of the fur will help in ceasing the growth of fleas.
Early detection of any skin and health issues. Regular grooming at the same groomers will help to identify any abnormalities such as bumps and lumps. Early detection will prevent the spreading of any serious condition.
Reduce the chances of an ear infection. Getting rid of the gunk and build up in your furry frens ears is important in preventing any ear infections. Your groomer will be able to trim any of the lengthier parts of the hair which could be causing further issues.
Trimming nails reduces the risk of developing bad posture. Nails that grow too long can be uncomfortable for your dog to walk on. Consequently, they may change their posture to better accommodate longer nails. Arthritis, bone deformations and bad posture is some of the consequences of adjusting their posture due to longer nails.
Healthy and shiny coats. Regular grooming will assist in the quality of your frens coat. It helps to remove dead skin. It spreads the natural oils over their coat. It also reduces shedding.
Sanitary cuts. Sanitary cuts involved shaving and trimming around your frens genital area and anus. This will assist in keeping the area clean and free of tangles. This will prevent unwanted poop getting stuck on their bum.

How often should you groom your furry fren?
Weekly, fortnight or monthly is recommended. Frequent and regular grooming is also beneficial for furry frens who suffer from anxiety. Furry frens that are groomed regularly see it as part of life, whereas frens who are groomed every 3-6 months may see it as a punishment.
How long does a full groom take?
The time depends on your frens condition, behaviour, size, coat, and the grooming service elected.
What comes first - bath or grooming?
Frens with dreadlocks or matted hair will be brushed, shaved, or clipped first. This is because a bath will make the fur even more dense and tangled. Furry frens whose coat is in good shape will be bathed first, then blown dry, shaved, or clipped, and brushed.
